CTER Membership

Dear Tribal Employment Rights Office,

I am writing to ask you to become a 2024 Council for Tribal Employment Rights Member or renew your annual membership. Your active membership means a great deal to us as we work to further Tribal Employment Rights, Indian Preference in hiring, and healthy economic development in and around reservations. As the only organization working for native employment rights on a national level, CTER is able to advocate for each and every tribe and native organization and Native American and Alaskan Native in this country. The stronger our membership, the stronger the voice of CTER in fighting for your rights.

2024 is a year filed with promise, challenges and opportunities—2024 presents an opportunity to continue working with an administration in Washington D.C. that seems more aligned with our interests than we’ve seen in the past, and we are building stronger relationships with our federal agency partners in promoting the cause of (and funding for) Indian preference. Joining or renewing you CTER membership will help us help you in this ongoing important work.

And the benefits to updating your membership with CTER go far beyond the cutting edge work we are doing in Washington—with your membershi renewal you will receive:

  • Access to select videos from our 3 most recent conferences.
  • An electronic file of the “TERO Country” map of the United States
  • A printed 2024 CTER Directory

Your membership will also entitle you to significantly reduced National Convention and Legal Update Conference registration fees, access to reduced-cost services such as the technical assistance, and legal advice.

Your membership will be good for the entire calendar year of 2024 and payment can be made by check or credit card. Please consider renewing your membership with us today.

Sincerely,

Melvin J. Wheeler Sr., Chairman CTER Board of Directors
