This conference assembles the foremost legal minds and resource people from private, tribal and public sectors in a forum to discuss the latest legal developments, regulations, policies and concepts in the areas of Tribal and Federal laws that impact tribes as employers, business owners and governmental regulators.
Questions and answers regarding the latest in sovereignty-based legislation, governance and business strategies designed to facilitate tribal management of the tremendous social and economic development resources and opportunities available now and in the future. Agenda will include presentations and updates on Federal Indian preference policies, TERO developments, Tribal Workforce Protection Act (TWPA), Tribal Labor Agreements (TLA), Native Construction Careers Institute (NCCI) training programs, oil, gas, minerals and alternative energy resources impacting Tribal and Federal laws.
