Part-Time / On-Call Driver (CDL Required)Shredfast, Inc. is seeking a dependable and flexible Part-Time / On-Call Driver (CDL Required) to support our growing operations. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being on the road, values independence, and takes pride in safe and efficient deliveries.This position is a great fit for individuals who are semi-retired, looking for supplemental income, or seeking flexible, as-needed work. Assignments will vary and may include both local transport and multi-day, out-of-state deliveries.The primary responsibility of this role is transporting completed vehicles from our manufacturing facility to customer locations across the U.S. Drivers represent Shredfast during deliveries, so professionalism and communication are key.Pay: $22.00 – $23.00/hr (DOE and CDL Class)Status: Part-Time / On-CallAdditional: Per diem provided for overnight travel (lodging, meals, fuel, and related expenses covered)Duties and responsibilitiesTransport completed vehicles to customer locations (often out of state)Pick up parts and equipment as needed for the manufacturing facilityDeliver and transport equipment between shop locations (Airway Heights & Cheney)Plan routes and meet delivery timelinesEnsure compliance with DOT rules and regulations, including:Weight scalesLogbooksPermits for interstate transportPerform pre-trip and post-trip inspectionsSafely maneuver trucks into loading/unloading positionsSecure loads properly when requiredReport any defects, accidents, or violations promptlyOperate in varying road and weather conditionsThis is a true on-call position with no set weekly schedule.Some assignments may require multi-day, overnight travelOther work may be local and shorter durationFlexibility and availability are key to success in this roleWhy This RoleFlexible, as-needed scheduleTravel opportunities across the U.S.Great supplemental income opportunityIdeal for experienced drivers who want to stay active without committing to full-time workBe part of a company known for building high-quality, specialized equipmentRequirementsQualificationsValid CDL (Class A or Class B required)Strong understanding of DOT regulations and safe driving practicesClean driving record (no recent violations)Experience securing loads and transporting heavy equipmentAbility to work independently and stay organized on the roadComfortable navigating both local and long-distance routesProfessional and personable—able to represent the company well with customers and vendorsAbility to pass a pre-employment background check and UA drug screeningAbility to occasionally operate equipment such as a pallet jack or forklift
